Welcome to Oklahoma City Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church. We believe that “in Christ” every single one of us are brothers and sisters. It is because of Jesus’ death that we all have life today. And for those who believe, we have eternal life (see Romans 5:18).
Our mission was given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 and 20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
How is all this accomplished? We believe this is accomplished through the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. We are saved entirely by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. He is our salvation.
What is the evidence that we are followers of Jesus? Jesus gave us the answer in John 13:35 where He says, “By this all will know that you re my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
We believe this can only be accomplished by being connected to Christ’s body (the Church) with Christ as our head. We would love to have you join us in worship as fellow brothers and sisters “in Christ.”

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
